About this site

This site is under construction. It started featuring TikZ examples mainly made by Izaak Neutelings and Alexandros Tsagkaropolulos, focused on Physics.

Please have a look at the PDF version if examples for the best quality. You can download it or compile directly on the web page. The PDFs and tex documents may contain several pictures, that’s why sometimes animated gifs are used for previewing. In summary, there more than 1000 pictures in 268 documents (blog posts). (grep “\\begin{tikzpicture}” *tex | wc)

The code of figures by Izaak can also be found on GitHub. A tutorial with examples is available at the UZH CMS wiki. Some figures are used for Ben Kilminster’s lecture notes PHY111 or PHY121. Other author’s code is available too, look at their author page or bio here.

The TikZ.net web site is maintained and hosted by Stefan Kottwitz on a DANTE supported server. You may also consider to visit pgfplots.net and TeXample.net with 407 examples of 190 authors (hosted by the same maintainer).

Do you like to contribute?

Send me an email to stefan@latex.org, I gladly add your examples. The TikZ and LaTeX community will enjoy.
